Connect Sumi Studio to your AI agent

Sumi Studio is a remote MCP server. Add it and sign in once, and your agent can generate images, video and audio, manage assets and build canvases, paying from your credits at the same prices as the website.

How you use it

    Your agent sets up Sumi Studio for you from this message, and tells you if there's anything you need to click yourself.

1. First check whether you can call the Sumi Studio doctor tool (the connection check). If you can, skip to step 3.
2. If you can't, connect Sumi Studio for me: open chatgpt.com/plugins, click + and choose Add custom MCP server with the URL https://sumistudio.ai/api/mcp and OAuth authentication, then sign in to Sumi Studio and approve (if the option is missing, first turn on Developer mode under Settings › Apps › Advanced settings); then start a new chat and pick Sumi Studio with @. For any step you can't do yourself, tell me where to click and what to enter, and I'll do it. I'll send you this message again once that's done.
3. Call doctor and tell me whether the connection works; if you can see my account and credit balance, tell me those too.
4. Call list_projects to show my few most recent projects, then ask me what I want to make this time.

    Connect your account and start creating

    Sign in to Sumi Studio and approve when your agent asks. Once authorized, it can create images, videos, and audio for you.

Set it up by hand

If you'd rather not use your agent, or it can't finish the setup, add it yourself with these steps.

  1. Add the Sumi Studio connector

    Open ChatGPT plugins(opens in a new tab)

    1. 1Open the plugins page and click + › Add custom MCP server.
    2. 2Enter Sumi Studio as the name, add a short description and paste the server URL under Connection.
    3. 3Choose OAuth for authentication, select I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.
    4. 4When the sign-in page appears, sign in on the Sumi Studio page and approve.

    If Add custom MCP server is missing, first turn on Developer mode in Settings › Apps › Advanced settings; whether it is available depends on your plan and workspace policy.

What you can do once connected

Once authorized, ask your agent to generate images, video and audio, manage your assets or build a canvas. It shows the price before every generation; when in doubt, ask it for an estimate first.

Manage connected agents

Connected agents appear under Settings › Authorized apps, where you can disconnect any of them at any time. Signing out of all devices also disconnects them.
