Connect Sumi Studio to your AI agent

Sumi Studio is a remote MCP server. Add it and sign in once, and your agent can generate images, video and audio, manage assets and build canvases, paying from your credits at the same prices as the website.

1. First check whether you can call the Sumi Studio doctor tool (the connection check). If you can, skip to step 3.
2. If you can't, connect Sumi Studio for me: run `npx -y [email protected] https://sumistudio.ai/api/mcp` in a terminal, sign in to Sumi Studio and approve, and press Ctrl+C once the page says authorization succeeded; then under Plugins · Skills · Partners › Plugins, create a custom plugin, choose STDIO, enter npx as the command and the rest of that command as the arguments, and start a new task. For any step you can't do yourself, tell me where to click and what to enter, and I'll do it. I'll send you this message again once that's done.
3. Call doctor and tell me whether the connection works; if you can see my account and credit balance, tell me those too.
4. Call list_projects to show my few most recent projects, then ask me what I want to make this time.

    Connect your account and start creating

    Sign in to Sumi Studio and approve when your agent asks. Once authorized, it can create images, videos, and audio for you.

Set it up by hand

If you'd rather not use your agent, or it can't finish the setup, add it yourself with these steps.

    Sign in once from a terminal

    This computer needs Node.js. In a terminal, run the command below once. It starts mcp-remote, an open-source sign-in bridge, and opens a Sumi Studio sign-in page: sign in and approve. When the page says authorization succeeded, press Ctrl+C in the terminal; the sign-in stays on this computer and renews itself. If you disconnect it under Settings › Authorized apps or it stops connecting, run this command again to sign in.

    Add the Sumi Studio plugin

    1. 1Open Doubao Work, go to Plugins · Skills · Partners › Plugins, click + and choose New custom plugin.
    2. 2Enter Sumi Studio as the name, choose STDIO and enter npx as the command.
    3. 3Paste these arguments into the Arguments field and save.

    Doubao Work's HTTP option only takes custom headers and cannot complete the Sumi Studio sign-in, so it connects through a local command instead.

What you can do once connected

Once authorized, ask your agent to generate images, video and audio, manage your assets or build a canvas. It shows the price before every generation; when in doubt, ask it for an estimate first.

Manage connected agents

Connected agents appear under Settings › Authorized apps, where you can disconnect any of them at any time. Signing out of all devices also disconnects them.
