Connect Sumi Studio to your AI agent

Sumi Studio is a remote MCP server. Add it and sign in once, and your agent can generate images, video and audio, manage assets and build canvases, paying from your credits at the same prices as the website.

1. First check whether you can call the Sumi Studio doctor tool (the connection check). If you can, skip to step 4.
2. If you can't, merge this into ~/.hermes/config.yaml (keep any servers already under mcp_servers):

3. Ask me to open a new terminal, run `hermes mcp login sumi-studio`, sign in with my Sumi Studio account and approve, then run /reload-mcp here. If you still can't call doctor afterwards, ask me to start a new session and I'll send you this message again.
4. Call doctor and tell me whether the connection works; if you can see my account and credit balance, tell me those too.
5. Call list_projects to show my few most recent projects, then ask me what I want to make this time.

    Connect your account and start creating

    Sign in to Sumi Studio and approve when your agent asks. Once authorized, it can create images, videos, and audio for you.

Set it up by hand

If you'd rather not use your agent, or it can't finish the setup, add it yourself with these steps.

    Add the server configuration

    Merge the configuration below into ~/.hermes/config.yaml, keeping any servers already under mcp_servers.

    Sign in to Sumi Studio and approve

    Open a new terminal and run the command below. A Sumi Studio sign-in page opens: sign in and approve; the command waits up to 5 minutes. Don't sign in from inside a Hermes session: its automatic reload only waits 30 seconds, which is not enough time to finish. After signing in, run /reload-mcp in Hermes and send it the message from step 1 again.

What you can do once connected

Once authorized, ask your agent to generate images, video and audio, manage your assets or build a canvas. It shows the price before every generation; when in doubt, ask it for an estimate first.

Manage connected agents

Connected agents appear under Settings › Authorized apps, where you can disconnect any of them at any time. Signing out of all devices also disconnects them.
