Adding nodes
Nodes are the basic unit on the canvas. Asset nodes hold what you upload; generation nodes drive AI output. This chapter covers how to add nodes and what types there are.
Ways to add a node
There are many entry points, each suited to a different situation:
- Double-click empty space / long-press on touch: opens the Add node menu; pick a type to create it;
- Right-click empty space: choose Add node in the context menu; the same menu has Upload, My assets, Undo/Redo, Paste and more;
- The + beside a node (generate from it): lists downstream nodes you can create for that node's output type (for example, Video processing under a video's + holds video extend, video edit, reference to video, segment remake and lip sync);
- The + beside a node (create an upstream node): opens a menu from an input handle to create an upstream node of the needed type and link it automatically;
- Drag a link out of a handle and drop it on empty space: a menu of candidate types opens where you dropped; pick one to create and link it;
- Drag local files onto the canvas: drop images / videos / audio / documents straight in to create asset nodes and upload;
- Paste (⌘/Ctrl + V): an outside image on the clipboard pastes as a new image asset node; nodes copied inside the app paste as copies.

Node types at a glance
These are the main node types you can create directly and actually use for generation:
- Image / video / audio / document assets: hold your uploaded media as input for later generation (create by upload / drag / paste);
- Image generation: text to image; it switches to image to image once you link an image in (Image in the Add node menu);
- Video generation: text to video, which also covers Omni Reference, image to video, first and last frames, image reference and other modes (Video in the Add node menu);
- Video processing: video extend, video edit, reference to video, segment remake and lip sync, created from Video processing in the Add node menu or from the + beside a video node;
- Audio: Audio in the Add node menu holds Voice, Dialogue, Music and Digital Avatar (entries with no available model are hidden); speech to text is created from the + beside an audio node → Text;
- Text generation: AI continues or rewrites text (Text in the Add node menu);
- Smart Cut: a timeline editing container for multiple clips, which opens a full-screen multi-track editor (Smart Cut in the menu, marked Beta);
- Director stage: a 3D stage where you place cameras and characters and take screenshots as reference images (Director stage in the menu, marked New).
Billing
Asset nodes are free; only generation / analysis nodes use credits. Every paid generation shows the expected credits before you submit, and only runs once you confirm.
