Image nodes

Image nodes generate, hold and edit still pictures — usually the first step before video. Select an image node and a toolbar appears above it, gathering the common image-editing tools.

Creating an image node

  • Choose Image in the Add node menu; it defaults to text to image;
  • Link an image in and it switches to Image to Image automatically, editing from that picture;
  • In the generator bar's parameters you can switch Generate method from Image Generation to Layer Decomposition, which splits a picture into layers you can edit separately (paid);
  • You can also upload / drag / paste an image directly as an asset node for later generation.

Image editing tools

With an image node selected, the main tools on the toolbar (paid or free noted):

  • Crop: drag the handles to crop, with preset or custom ratios (free);
  • Multi-angle: drag a 3D cube to pick a new camera angle and tilt / zoom, generating other views of the same scene (paid);
  • Repaint: brush or box the area to change, describe what it should become, and the AI regenerates that area (paid);
  • Relight: drag light orbs to set key / rim light direction, strength and color temperature, then regenerate the lighting (paid);
  • Panorama: generate the current image as a 2:1 panorama (paid);
  • Rotate & mirror: preset or any-angle rotation, horizontal / vertical mirror (free);
  • More → Layer Decomposition: split the picture into layers (shown as Edit layers once layers exist, paid);
  • More → Outpaint: drag the frame outward to enlarge the picture, pick ratio / resolution, then generate (paid);
  • More → Erase: circle what to remove and generate, no extra description needed (paid);
  • More → Annotate: draw colored marks with brush / box and save as a new image (free);
  • More → Photo enhance: AI HD redraw with a model and target resolution of your choice (paid);
  • More → Pixel resize: enter a target width and height (ratio can be locked) to resize directly (free);
  • More → Remove background: keep the subject, drop the background (paid);
  • More → Quick split: cut the image into a 2×2 / 3×3 / 4×4 grid, with More grid sizes up to 8×8 (free);
  • Create element: an image with a result can be saved as a reusable element (character / scene / prop) to reference later with @ (free).

When the node has two or more links, Disconnect all appears at the front of the toolbar.

Image result toolbar: Disconnect all (2+ links), Crop, Multi-angle, Redraw, Relight, Panorama, Rotate & Mirror, Panorama preview, More, Create element, Save to Library, Download, Fullscreen

Panorama preview

Once there is a result image, open a WebGL 720° spherical preview: drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, and capture 4 or 12 views at once as reference images sent back to the canvas (free).

The toolbar separates free tools from paid generation · Repaint / erase / outpaint need an area marked before generating · Panorama preview is a free, view-only tool
