Credits and membership
Generating is billed in credits. This chapter covers how credits are spent and topped up, and the refund rules.
Spending credits
- Before every paid generation, the generator bar shows the expected credits; you submit after confirming;
- Models differ in capability and price; those billed per token / per minute / per 5 seconds show "up to N credits", with the real amount settled when the run finishes and any difference refunded or charged;
- Your balance shows live in the top bar and the account menu. Some credits only work for specific models (model-scoped credits); Spend order in the account menu decides whether scoped or general credits are used first.
Membership and top-ups
- Memberships grant monthly credits each cycle; top-ups are credits bought once, used as you go;
- The pricing / membership page (/pricing) lists every plan and switches between Monthly and Annual prepay, and between Individual plans and Business plans; buy top-ups in the Credit Store (click the credit balance in the top bar) or under Credit top-up on the subscription page (/billing);
- Teams have their own shared credit pool, and generations in team projects draw from it.

Refund rules
- A generation can only be cancelled while the model service has not started on it; the node then offers Cancel & refund and all the credits come back. A task that has started can't be cancelled and runs to the end;
- On failure the system decides by its rules whether to refund — only a "Refunded N credits" notice on the node means a refund actually happened;
- A task settled on actual usage shows "Charged N credits, returned M credits"; that is the unused part of the hold, not a refund.
Check the estimate before generating; "up to N" means metered · Memberships grant credits per cycle; top-ups are one-off purchases · Cancelling before processing refunds in full; on failure watch for "Refunded N credits"
