Connections and workflows
Link nodes together and one node's output flows into the next node's input — that builds a workflow. This chapter covers link rules and how to tidy, group and run a whole group.
Link rules
- Link: drag from one node's output handle to another node's input handle;
- Single-link inputs: an input that takes one link replaces the old link when you connect a new one (to change a reference, just drag a new link; no need to disconnect first); image reference inputs take several links, and how many video links an input takes depends on the model;
- Disconnect: right-click a node and choose Disconnect all, or use the toolbar button of the same name when the node has two or more links, removing all of that node's links at once.

Tidy and group
- Auto-layout: ⇧⌥F (Shift+Alt+F on Windows) rearranges nodes so links are cleaner; Tidy layout in the right-click menu does the same;
- Group: marquee-select several nodes and press ⌘/Ctrl + G; a toolbar appears above the group frame: Run group, copy group, Save as workflow, convert to storyboard group (when the group is all images), ungroup and batch download;
- Ungroup: ⌘/Ctrl + Shift + G; batch download gets every result in the group at once.
Run a group and storyboard groups
- Run group: a Run group confirmation shows the estimated credits first, then the group's generatable nodes run one by one in link order;
- Run chain: right-click a node and choose Run chain to run everything downstream of it, again after confirming the price;
- Convert to storyboard group: only when every node in the group is an image (⌘/Ctrl + Alt + G); the toolbar then switches to ratio, grid count, numbering toggle and resolution, plus Stitch (merge the group's images into one big image), convert to a plain group, copy and clear.
Save as a reusable workflow
After grouping some nodes, Save as workflow on the group toolbar saves the group as a reusable workflow (node structure and settings only, not the generated results). Find it later under Templates → My workflows on the left toolbar and click Send to canvas to insert it again anytime. The Official templates tab in Templates holds ready-made workflows that ship with the product.
